We spent Tuesday night in the ER with our younger son, Snake, after he slammed his OWN hand in the trunk. There was lots of comical banter back and forth between the stitches and drilling holes into his nail...it was really gross.
Then last night, while Snake was busy re-telling his ER story...cause chicks dig scars...to all his friends at church, out older son, Crack, was busy breaking his foot while jumping rope.
Yep, you read right. Tuesday was bloody thumb night and Wednesday was break a leg night. On the advice of a friend, who is a nurse, we held out and bypassed the ER, and instead headed to our Pediatrician this morning. About half way through Crack telling her what happened and how bad it hurt, she said, "Well, that makes since, cause it's broken."
We see the Orthopedic doctor first thing in the morning to find out if he gets a regular cast or if surgery is needed. In the end, he might just keep the temporary brace and be on crutches.
It is never a dull moment around here.
Who's next?

I feel your pain. My son who is only 7 broke his arm three times, the same arm i might add, by the time he was 6. One of which required surgery which was only 4 months after his older sister broke her wrist and have to have surgery on it.That was a year for the books! You'll make it through. You are strong enough even if you think you're not. You have alot going on in your life right now I know, but keep your chin up, that is where your beauty is. And He is there. He is always there. He will not leave you and I know He will take what the enemy is meaning for your harm and turn it around for your good and blessings will run you down and take you over. You just wait and see...
