We are planning a visit to NY and to DC in the spring.
If you live there, or have been there, help a girl out and tell me what we HAVE to see.
I have all the "regular" places penciled in, but I am looking for things that might be more from a locals viewpoint.
Things off the beaten path, you could say.
So, speak up and email me at laughingmomma@gmail.com to send us on our way!!!

I'm not sure if this is in your plans, or if it would even be considered off the beaten path, but I thoroughly enjoyed Central Park. I took a girlfriend of mine from Michigan and we drove to New York. We went to see the Lion King and before that strolled through Central Park.
I grew up in NJ right on the Hudson, so you would think I would have seen it when I was younger. Somehow I missed it.
Where do you plan on going while you're there?
