Well, here we are, at home in our PJ's, it's freezing cold outside, and Micah has the Flu. Nasty Flu, mind you. She sounds horrible, and looks it too. She slept yesterday from about 4:30 pm until this morning around 10. She did have a few fleeting moments of being awake. It was pretty funny actually, because she would sit up and start talking to you but when you answered her, she would already be back asleep. In fact the best line of the night was from her sleepy stuper.
DH and the boys headed for church last night and I stayed home with Micah. They ended up getting home pretty late since they stopped by Walmart on their way home to get Valentines stuff for their ladies. After showers they were about ready to head for bed when Jared said he wanted to talk to me. He came into my bedroom and with Micah sound asleep next to me begins to tell me that he asked Adreanna to "go out" with him. To which I answered, "where you going to?" He didn't think I was being funny, but I really was. He said, "I asked her if she wanted to go out and she said, 'Okay', then she ran away."
At this point, Micah sits up and says "I would run away too if you asked me to be your girlfriend!!!!" and then laid back down and fell back asleep. I was laughing so hard that my head hurt. Leave it to the sick to have the best one liner of the night.
From there, it was nothing but down hill. She had a miserable night, and honestly, her morning has not been much better. Her one moment of smiles was when she opened her Valentine card from her brothers and found her LIFE SIZE Tinkerbell mylar balloon in the living room. (remember the Warmart trip?)
Anyway, school will be conducted in our PJ's because we can, and the part of the sickly child will be played by Micah.
